Fall in Rochester

November 16th, 2009

Hello all! My apologies for that temporary hiatus I took. Time has gone by so quickly. The summer was busy, filled with silent Russian films, working my tush off at Bazil, networking, frequent gym visits, and even visited Venice Beach, CA (many thanks to Mr. Lawson for hosting my stay). Things have been changing. Now in my last semester at Brockport as a “super senior” life is filled with silent American films, working my tush off at Red Robin, networking, infrequent gym visits, and commuting back and forth from Brockport every day. With my graduation from college and my transition into the “real world” rapidly approaching, I am cherishing these last few weeks of having the luxury of being a student. I wear sweats to class, scare Freshman students, and eat all of my parent’s food. I do think I am ready for this change, because 1) now when I go out in Brockport I know nobody because everybody has already graduated 2) living with my parents, I get to listen to them discuss how packaging designs have changes over the years 3) I want to actually start making money.
As I keep promising, my portfolio should be up in the near future so check back. I am a perfectionist when it comes to my work, so it takes some time. I will definitely be blogging more, especially about these life-changing events that are about to start happening, so if anybody cares to know about it keep on coming back to the site for updates!
Much love
- Emma

Summer in good ol’ exotic Rochester

June 8th, 2009

Although you can’t tell by the weather here in Rochester, it is finally summer! Everybody is starting to come out of their winter cocoons and are fluttering around Monroe Ave and East Ave around like intoxicated social butterflies. I love these few months and cherish them.
My agenda for the summer:

- Work on my portfolio
- Find a job that I am passionate about
- Bond with my friends and family before I leave for the west coast in December

and most importantly-
- Get a tan!

Check back for more updates! I should have some video work on here by the end of the week.

My website rocks!

Thanks to the help from the super talented (and good looking) Matt Lawson, I have my website up and running!

The site is still under construction. I should have a few pieces of my work on here shortly.
